This forum was created so that people interested in Extraterrestrial Science and Life could have a place for open, constructive discussions about anything related to this specific topic.  Below you will find important information relating to this website including the rules and terms of service for posting on the forum.  Please read this document in full if this is your first time on the forum.


INFORMATION FOR ORGANIZATIONS AND CLUBS
If you are the owner or member of an organization or club dedicated to extraterrestrial science and life, and would like to have your own section on this forum for members of your organization/club to gather feel free to send a PM to the admin of this board with your request.  Your forum will be listed in the "Organizations and Clubs" section of the forums, and you will be assigned as the moderator for your specific forum.  This is a great feature for organizations and clubs so your members can collaborate and keep in touch with one another online, and also an excellent way to get the word out about your organization to other people interested in extraterrestrial science and life.


FORUM RULES
01) We are very strict when it comes to SPAM and self-promotion of products, services, and websites.  We DO NOT allow any type of spam whatsoever on any board, and if you are caught spamming you will be banned forever!
   If you have a product, service, or website relating to the topics discussed on our website then you may promote it in the "Announcements, Spam & Promotions" forum.  That is the ONLY forum where you can promote your products, services, or website.
   DO NOT promote anything that is not related to our forum topics.  For example: sports products, fashion jewelry, viagra, etc...  Off-topic promotions will be deleted and can get you banned at our discretion if it looks like blatant spam.

02)  Please do not post disturbing photos or images on the board.  Do not post pictures of cattle/animal mutilations even though we have a section dedicated for this topic.  We understand due to the nature of the topics of this forum some pictures and photos can be borderline, and members might have a difficult time knowing if they can post a picture or image without breaking our rules.  The best advice we can give you is to use your common sense.  If we decide an image a member has posted breaks the rules we will just delete the image.  Members won't be banned right away, but continued violations can result in being banned.

03) We do not allow any type of hate, racists, or slander type language on our forums.  Forum members found posting these type of messages or attacking other members on the forum will be warned and in extreme cases banned at our discretion.  This board was created for constructive debates and discussions about a highly controversial field of science, and we would like to keep the atmosphere of the forum as positive as possible.

04) If you have images you want to post on our forum but don't have anywhere to host the images you can email them to contact[at]extraterrestrialforum.com and we will host them on our server and email  you back with the URL where you can link to the photo from your post.
