Angels = Extraterrestrials

There are Christians who take a very strong position about angels, and that they have nothing to do with extraterrestrial life. They look at these as if they are two seperate topics. The reason is, they believe angels dwell in a non-physical dimension, while if physical ETs exist, then they would dwell in the physical universe. Most of these Christians would argue that there is no evidence for ET life in Scripture.

The problem with that line of thinking is the fact that the word "extraterrestrial," by its very definition, perfectly describes an heavenly angel. 

The word "extra," when used in conjunction with the word "terrestrial" means "above," "beyond" or "outside of." The word Terrestrial is defined as "of or belonging to the earth."  Extra-terrestrial literally means above, outside of, or beyond the earth. Heavenly created angels are not of the earth. They are heavenly or celestial beings. They were made for the heavens and were not made out of the dust of the earth, as was mankind. The angels live or dwell, not on the earth, but in the heavens. This makes heavenly angels to be, according to Scripture, extra-terrestrials. Even if one believes that angels dwell in so-called other dimensions, they're still not of the earth and the term extraterrestrial would still apply.

For the reasons stated above, Satan and his angels DO NOT pretend to be extraterrrestrials. They do not masquerade as if they are from the celestial regions. They ARE extraterrestrials and they ARE NOT pretending to be from space, for they truly are from space. The bible clearly states that Satan still has access to all three heavens and appears at "God's throne day and night" (Job 1 and 2, Revelation 12:10). Ephesians 6:12-13 specifically states that the powers of satanic forces still resides in "heavenly realms." The "fall of Satan" is still yet future. Yes, Satan's "moral fall" was ages ago, but his being "cast out of heaven" permanently with his angels, is yet future.

Time and time again I hear Christian leaders tell others not to believe that extraterrestrial life is real, for they say it is a "demonic deception." Actually, there IS extraterrestrial life according to the scriptures and it is not a deception. The actual "demonic deception" lies in what these demonic forces are claiming about God and religion. So, there is much to beware of in the ufo and ET phenomenon. But, the reality of ET life is not the deception itself. It is the false teachings the satanic beings from the heavenly realms are propagating that is to be rejected.
