I don't know if you're even around on this site anymore, but I'll make a comment anyway.
Much of what I believe is obviously unprovable, but I get most of my info from an awesome but controversial book. This ancient book has been under attack and many are trying hard to refute its claims. You probably know what book this is. Yup. The Bible
. Maybe you don't take the Bible seriously. That's okay. But there is a lot of things in there that was written during the time of Egypts' Pharoahs.
I think that there is a good amount of information in the Bible that is so overlooked by most people on this and similar topics. There are a lot of various opinions on how to interpret some of this material, but I believe it sheds some light on the topic of extraterrestrial life and its effect on ancient civilizations.
I believe that most of the world in the ancient past believed that life existed in space (heaven) and that they contacted us here on earth. Most of what we might label as pagan religions have some basis in reality. This is stated in the Bible.
In Genesis 6, before the flood of Noah, and in other books of the Old Testament after the flood, it is stated that the "sons of God" mated/married/went in unto "the daughters of men." The term "Sons of God" is a term that is sometimes used of heavenly angels in the Scriptures, both good
or evil. The sons of God caused the women to have children which were the "demi-gods." We might call them "hybrids" today. But the sons of God and their offspring were worshipped as deities from the heavens. The Bible explains that these were wicked angels who came to earth and produced what the Bible calls Nephilim or Giants. These were half angelic and half human offspring. Most, if not all, the Nephilim were destroyed by about King David's time. But, I believe we may be seeing the beginning of this occuring again in our lifetime. There is evidence within the ufo phenomenon that it may not have ever entirely stopped. Yipes!
